Some people locate the module in the dash end panel with the fuse box, be sure to check there too. A lot of people now have access to App based diagnostics, it is possible a previous owner enabled Bluetooth in the hope it would work (hence the listing in the on-screen menu) but didn't install the module and microphone. Hello, I have a Skoda Octavia MK2 2005 Elegance, 1.6 FSI, fitted with a standard Skoda Auto Stream unit, which can only play CDs, and doesn't have AUX or Bluetooth connection. I'm looking to upgrade my stereo/satnav/bluetooth unit, but I don't know which other models are going to work with my configuration.
It plugs into the back of the HU instead of the cd-changer plug, and has a 3.5mm jack you can plug into any mp3 player. You press the [CD] button twice to switch to it. Posted 21 July, 2010. If you have the stream mp3 head unit you can wire an aux socket directly in and keep the CD changer.

Model: '10 Scout TSi Revo Stage2. Posted 1 December, 2010. Hi all, Just installed the 3C8035730A module to replace the rSap only 5N0035730C. Simple plug and play, no recoding was needed. Iphone 4 works fine, address book downloaded and all that. Also media player plays Iphone songs working. No SMS on Maxidot compared to rSap HTC Touch HD that i I found that if you reset the infotainment screen by holding down the on/off control for 10 seconds the system would restart and the Bluetooth would be on, not ideal but it gets you access to your phone while in the car. This would sometimes last a couple of days, other times just one short journey.
Skoda Octavia Mk IV (2020 > ) More infotainment troubles. I'm still enjoying my new VRS despite all the annoyances related to the Infotainment system, which in opinion (and that of many others it seems) is badly designed, slow and unreliable. I thought I'd perhaps share my latest problem and the solution I found - in case it helps anyone else.
6.2k. Model: Octavia TDi 110. Posted 6 February, 2012. First you have to enable Telephone (77) in CAN Gateway (19) In Telephone (77) start with the soft coding set to 0000422 and adapt the channels as follows 128=0. 129=6.

Check that other devices paired with your phone aren't getting your calls. Turn on Phone audio . Open your phone's Settings app . Tap Connected devices Bluetooth . Next to your car or accessory's name, tap Settings . Next to 'Phone audio', tick the box.

To get stereo bluetooth, you probably need to add an extra wire for the other channel between the BT module and headunit. If the aux is factory fitted, it would have worked originally. Sounds like a previous owner has done some messing about if it was disconnected.
Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Parrot Hands Free Battery Drain ? I've got a 2007 Octy 2.0 TDI with battery problems - not enough in the battery to start the car after a couple of days. Dealer is saying that my Parrot hands free maybe causing the problem in that it does not allow the car to go into sleep mode and is thus draining the battery.
Not sure what use that would be. It appears to be a bluetooth unit for streaming music somehow, but how effective it would be I don't know. Certainly you'll have to use the phone for all control of the music, which will gain you some points and a fine when the Police catch you. Location: BRISTOL. Model: skoda superb estate L,K. CAN stands for Controller Area Network. CAN is a new means of communicating with the car for diagnostics used by the latest generations of VW, Audi, SEAT, and Skoda vehicles. Unlike the older ISO9141 system which used a single K-line for diagnostic communications, the new CAN-Bus system uses a twisted pair of wires with differential signaling. EeqyP.
