In my opinion, Aurum Cantus is a very, very underrated brand given their terrific sound and stellar build quality. In my opinion, the V2s have to be right up there with some of best looking monitors anywhere - period. To me, the proportions of the V2 are just perfect and better than that of their bigger brother, the V3M.

I also just received four AC-130F-1 drivers (5.25'') that I am waiting to use in the right project. These are the square frame ones.

Aurum Cantus is a brand name for the Jinlang Audio Company of Shangdong. Jinlang also sells under the name Accentus Audio. Not sure where the Latin names come in, but both brands market speakers, Accentus being large floor standing monitors and the Aurum Cantus smaller in scale, but both using related in-house ribbon tweeters and drivers.

I have used the Aurum Cantus AC130 MKII and also have a pair of the new AC130/50CK. The AC130 MKII is an excellent driver, but it has the typical carbon fibre breakup of two nasty peaks at around 5.5kHz and 7.5kHz, so is difficult to crossover. The new AC130/50CK is a lot better with the breakup higher in frequency and much reduced in magnitude.
